T7 Global has secured a commissioning contract from Searah (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for offshore assets in Peninsular Malaysia. Its fully owned subsidiary, Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd, will undertake hook-up and commissioning services under Package C1.

The agreement covers the period from 21 August 2026 to 26 September 2029. Although the award letter was dated 25 August, permission to disclose the deal was granted on 27 October. T7 Global made its announcement the following day, according to the company filing reproduced by KLSE Screener.

The contract price remains undisclosed. T7 Global expects the work to benefit its earnings and net assets for the financial year ending 31 December 2026 and for subsequent financial years through contract expiry. The company cited staffing, equipment availability and regulatory conditions among the risks to delivery.

The award follows earlier Malaysian contracts held by Tanjung Offshore, including a five-year Package C1 award from PETRONAS Carigali in December 2024. The subsidiary has also obtained maintenance, construction, modification and commissioning work from operators including Hess, EnQuest and Jadestone Energy.

Searah (Malaysia), formerly Seara Energy Sdn Bhd, manages the Malaysian assets of Searah. Eni and PETRONAS established the venture in June 2026, each holding a 50% interest.

In its announcement of Searah’s establishment, Eni listed 14 assets in Indonesia and five in Malaysia, encompassing gas production and development. Initial production was stated at more than 300,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Saipem has secured approximately $121 million in drilling contracts from Eni subsidiaries, assigning Saipem 10000 to Cyprus and the semi-submersible Scarabeo 9 to offshore operations in Ghana.
Reuters sources describe preliminary negotiations with no certainty of a deal. Eni's Libyan output averaged about 162,000 boe/d in 2025, while neither company confirmed the discussions.
NOC targets launch by the end of October, while Eni forecasts annual domestic gas supply of about 700 million standard cubic metres from facilities built to recover gas previously flared at Bouri.
