The Seatrium FPSO integration award from SBM Offshore exceeds S$200 million and covers a vessel intended to serve offshore projects in South America. Work is due to start in the fourth quarter of 2026 and conclude in 2029.

Seatrium disclosed the contract on 30 October 2026. The announcement did not name the floating production, storage and offloading vessel or its intended development project.

The assignment covers both structural fabrication and vessel work. Seatrium will construct a flare tower, supports for the mooring system and risers, and structures to carry topside equipment. The vessel will undergo drydocking and modifications, alongside integration of its topside modules.

Its responsibilities additionally cover mechanical completion and selected pre-commissioning tasks. For commissioning and sea trials, Seatrium will provide support.

The award extends the companies’ established FPSO relationship. Marlin Khiew, Executive Vice President of Seatrium Energy (Projects) and President, LATAM, said the company would apply experience from earlier assignments to the new project.
