Jianglong Shipbuilding will build two 78 m multipurpose offshore supply vessels under contracts worth approximately $40 million. Delivery is scheduled for June and August 2028.

The Chinese shipbuilder announced the order on 29 September 2026. Its contract announcement specifies that the first ship must be delivered by 19 June 2028 and the second by 18 August 2028. Equipment provided by the owner is excluded from the price. Payment will be made in instalments as the contract progresses.

Jianglong did not name the customer, citing commercial confidentiality, but confirmed that it is not a related party. Propulsion details, deadweight and the vessels’ intended deployment were not disclosed.

The latest order follows two offshore vessel deals announced in May. THONG YONG OFFSHORE ordered a pair for $18.4 million, with deliveries planned for September and December 2027.

In a separate transaction, Jianglong Shipbuilding International contracted two anchor-handling tug supply vessels for PHOENIX ONE and PHOENIX TWO. That order was valued at approximately $27.1 million, with delivery deadlines at the end of September and November 2027, respectively.

The three disclosed orders comprise six offshore vessels worth approximately $85.5 million. They cover different designs and separate commercial arrangements.

Jianglong said the latest contract signing would have no material impact on its financial performance for 2026.
