Mermaid Subsea Services (MSS) has reached a key milestone by completing its first cable transport from China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking a milestone in its regional operations. The company is now in the final phase of a project for a Saudi client, utilizing its dedicated shallow-water cable lay barge, Prestige 3302.

During this campaign, MSS deployed an extensive offshore spread that included the CLV DP2 Millennium 3 during earlier project stages. The operations were executed in cooperation with the main contractor and a network of subcontractors, ensuring efficiency and safety despite demanding shallow-water conditions.

With the Millennium 3 already engaged in projects through 2026, MSS will have the Prestige 3302 available immediately upon completion of the ongoing campaign. The company continues to strengthen its record in executing complex subsea and shallow-water cable installation projects across the region.
