Eiffage subsidiary Smulders and NEPTUN WERFT have secured a second 2GW North Sea converter platform contract from 50Hertz for the LanWin3 grid connection project.
Smulders has completed the load-out of the OSS Zingst and Darß topsides for 50Hertz’s 927 MW OST-6-1 grid connection serving the Gennaker offshore wind project.
Smulders has reported the load-out of the OSS Zingst and OSS Darß jackets for 50Hertz’s OST-6-1 grid connection, which will transmit power from the 927 MW Gennaker Offshore Wind Farm.
Sif has completed the final monopile load-out for the 1.44 GW Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms in Poland, where Heerema Marine Contractors’ Thialf is installing foundations.

Bałtyk 3 offshore substation topside has been moved from the production hall to the yard at Smulders’ Vlissingen site, where outfitting and transformer installation will continue ahead of next year’s load-out.
The OSS Jasmund topside and jacket have completed load-out and are prepared for transportation to the Baltic Sea. The 4,500-ton topside and 72m jacket were built by HSM Offshore Energy and Smulders with support from a tailor-made grillage.
