SAL has taken delivery of MV Patricia, the third vessel in its next-generation Orca Class fleet.

Following the delivery of her sister vessels, MV Patricia now joins the fleet and is expected to begin her maiden voyage soon. The vessel will transport wind energy equipment from Asia to Europe for a long-standing customer.

The Orca Class was designed for the changing requirements of heavy lift, project cargo and offshore logistics. The vessel series combines lifting capability, operational flexibility and fuel-efficient performance, reflecting SAL’s continued commitment to innovation and long-term investment in maritime transport.

With three Orca-class vessels now delivered, SAL expects MV Patricia to begin service shortly as part of one of the most advanced heavy-lift vessel series built for its fleet.
