Jumbo is hiring a Marine Engineer to join its Engineering Department in Schiedam. The company is active in heavy lift transportation and offshore installation, supporting complex offshore projects worldwide with DP vessels and a wider heavy lift fleet.
This full-time role focuses on engineering support for offshore and marine operations, including hydrodynamic analysis, vessel performance, workability assessments, and support for future low-emission fleet development. The position is mainly office-based, with occasional offshore assignments.
Key Requirements
- MSc in Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of vessel stability and hydrodynamics
- Programming skills, preferably Matlab or Python
- Experience with OrcaFlex or AQWA
