Astro Offshore has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Oceaneering International, Inc. covering cooperation on offshore and subsea projects.

The agreement will combine Astro Offshore’s offshore support vessels and marine operations expertise with Oceaneering’s capabilities in ROV operations, survey work and project delivery.

The two companies plan to use these capabilities together for complex offshore and subsea project work.

As part of its subsea expansion, Astro Offshore has also introduced Astro Aurora, its first DP3 Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV). The vessel is intended for complex offshore and subsea operations.

Astro Aurora will provide Astro Offshore with a vessel platform for projects carried out through the collaboration with Oceaneering.
