DOF Group ASA has secured an Africa subsea contract for Skandi Acergy, which will transport subsea production systems (SPS) and install them at deepwater developments.

The vessel’s assignment is due to start early in the first quarter of 2027 and is expected to take about 100 days. In its contract announcement dated 22 October 2026, DOF placed the award in its Significant category, covering values of USD 15 million to USD 25 million.

Neither the operator nor the fields were named in the announcement. The precise contract price was also undisclosed.

DOF will provide project management alongside engineering services, logistical support and offshore execution. Its Atlantic teams in Bergen and Aberdeen will manage the project and undertake engineering and planning. Installation will be carried out during an offshore campaign dedicated to the contract.

Chief executive Mons S. Aase said managing risks and ensuring safe, efficient completion within the schedule would be priorities for the work.

The award adds work to DOF‘s 2027 backlog.
