Boa Offshore has dispatched BOABARGE 38 from Rotterdam to support a project in Italy.

The semi-submersible heavy lift barge measures 152 m in length, 38 m in width and 9.15 m in depth. It is designed for heavy marine operations, including heavy cargo transportation, launching and docking work, decommissioning, and salvage operations.

According to Boa Offshore, BOABARGE 38 can submerge to provide up to 21.5 m of water above deck. The vessel has a deck strength of 35 t/m² and offers more than 5,000 m² of free deck space.

The company said the barge was designed for demanding marine operations.
