Vantris Energy has secured contracts worth about RM830 million ($202.8 million) for offshore transportation and installation work and tender-assisted drilling services.
The Malaysian offshore services company, formerly known as Sapura Energy, received a work order from Petronas Carigali under an existing transportation and installation contract.
Within its drilling business, Vantris Energy also received a notice of assignment from Petronas Carigali for the deployment of the Sapura Esperanza tender-assisted drilling rig.
The 2013-built Sapura Esperanza assignment is expected to begin in the third quarter of fiscal year 2027 under an existing drilling services contract.
Separately, Vestigo Petroleum awarded Vantris Energy a new tender-assisted drilling contract involving the 2011-built Sapura Jaya rig.
The Sapura Jaya project is also scheduled to begin in the third quarter of fiscal year 2027.
According to Vantris Energy, the contracts and assignments have increased its orderbook to more than RM6 billion ($1.5 billion).
