Subsea7 has secured a sizeable contract from Brunei Shell Petroleum for subsea installation work under a Pipeline Replacement Project offshore Brunei.
The contract covers the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of subsea pipeline and riser systems for offshore assets in water depths of up to 50 m.
Subsea7 defines a sizeable contract as one valued between $50 million and $150 million. The company did not disclose the specific contract value.
Project management and engineering activities will start immediately from Subsea7’s office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Teams in Perth, Australia, Paris, France, and other company locations will support the project.
The contract extends the working relationship between Subsea7 and Brunei Shell Petroleum, which began in 2018. The offshore installation schedule and project completion date were not disclosed.
