The heavy transport and marine logistics campaign for Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers has completed the loadout of its 100th module at L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited’s Modular Fabrication Yard in Kattupalli.

The campaign began in February 2025. Twenty voyages have been completed, while the 21st voyage is in progress. The modules are being transported to Karratha, Western Australia.

The heaviest module handled during the campaign weighed 2,158 tonnes. The largest module dimensions reached 46.25 m in length, 17.5 m in width and 42.2 m in height.

The loadouts have required transport engineering, marine planning, loadout execution and voyage management. The modules have also presented different engineering and operational requirements.

The KLN Project team has worked alongside Saipem Clough JV, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited, J M Baxi Group, Roll Group, DONGBANG, ABL, Eagle, Alevro and port authorities during the campaign.

Following the 100th module loadout, the campaign is moving into its final phase. The remaining modules include some of the largest and most technically demanding units in the programme.
