UAE-based offshore support vessel owner Gulf Marine Services has secured a 183-day contract extension for one of its Small-class vessels operating in the GCC region.

The extension was awarded under an existing agreement with a major National Oil Company in the Middle East. The client also holds two additional three-month extension options after the extended period.

The vessel will continue supporting the client’s offshore maintenance operations during the extension.

Gulf Marine Services said its current backlog stands at $659 million.

Mansour Al Alami, Executive Chairman of Gulf Marine Services, said the extension supports the company’s focus on fleet utilisation.
