Fugro has secured further work for Germany’s Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH), CEO Mark Heine said during the company’s Q3 analyst call on 30 October.

Heine said Fugro had secured new work for BSH in Germany for the coming years. He did not disclose the contract value or a specific work schedule during the call.

A BSH procurement notice describes a geotechnical investigation framework for offshore wind development areas in zones 3, 4 and 5 of Germany’s North Sea exclusive economic zone. Its scope includes geotechnical investigations, laboratory work and reporting. The EU procurement listing does not currently show award details, so it does not confirm that Fugro won this specific framework.

Fugro previously announced a separate multi-year geotechnical investigation contract from BSH in 2021. That programme covered offshore wind development areas in the German North Sea and included vessel-based data acquisition and laboratory testing, as described in the company’s 2021 announcement.
