Borr Drilling has secured eight contract commitments representing more than 2,100 days of additional firm work and approximately $267 million in Dayrate Equivalent Backlog.

The latest awards involve Idun, Gunnlod, Mist, Prospector 1, Gerd, Galar and Gersemi, with work scheduled in Vietnam, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Ivory Coast and Mexico.

In Vietnam, Idun began operations for an undisclosed operator in mid-July 2026 under a one-well contract with an estimated duration of 60 days. The rig is then scheduled to undertake a one-well programme for HLHV JOC, with an estimated duration of about 30 days.

Gunnlod has a six-well commitment with PVEP-NCS in Vietnam. The programme is scheduled from August 2026 to April 2027 and has an estimated firm duration of eight months. The agreement also includes two unpriced one-well options with a combined estimated duration of about 110 days.

In Malaysia, Mist received a binding Letter of Award from Sarawak Shell Berhad for a campaign expected to start in October 2026. The planned work has an estimated duration of 45 days.

Prospector 1 received a two-well extension from ONE-Dyas in the Netherlands, extending its commitment through April 2027. The extension is expected to cover about seven months, while three additional one-well options have an estimated combined duration of 210 days.

In Ivory Coast, Gerd received a one-well extension from Foxtrot with an estimated duration of 45 days, keeping the rig committed through March 2027.

In Mexico, Galar and Gersemi each received two-year extensions from PEMEX, taking their respective commitments through May 2030.

The latest activity brought Borr Drilling’s year-to-date 2026 contracting total to 21 commitments, representing approximately 4,350 days and $541 million in Dayrate Equivalent Backlog.

The company reported 2026 contract coverage of 73% at an average dayrate of approximately $134,000 per day. Coverage for the second half of 2026 stood at 70%.
