Ocean Oilfield has completed the OCEAN MVM acquisition, bringing the jack-up previously named Noble Resolve under its ownership, the company said in an update.

The unit reached Malta on 13 October 2026 and is being offered for drilling assignments in international markets. Ocean Oilfield says the rig can begin work immediately, provided contract terms are agreed and the necessary operating conditions are satisfied.

OCEAN MVM uses the GustoMSC CJ50-X100 MC design. Ocean Oilfield says this design can operate in difficult offshore conditions, including severe weather.

Ocean Oilfield first disclosed the purchase on 9 December 2025, saying the rig would be delivered after its existing drilling assignment ended. Ocean Energy Resources covered the proposed transaction on 10 December 2025 and likewise linked delivery to the end of that assignment.

Noble Corporation, the seller, had announced a $64 million cash agreement with Ocean Oilfield Drilling on 8 December 2025 for the sale of Noble Resolve.
