Acta Marine held the Acta Hercules christening in IJmuiden, the Netherlands, on 30 September 2026. The CSOV is already working for Vestas under a five-year charter agreement.

Tersan Shipyard in Turkey delivered Acta Hercules in March as the second vessel in Acta Marine’s four-ship CSOV programme. The five-year charter covers offshore wind construction in Northwest Europe. The delivery announcement identified Hollandse Kust West in the Netherlands as the vessel’s first assignment.

With accommodation for 135 people, the vessel carries equipment for transferring technicians to offshore installations. Methanol dual-fuel engines and battery energy storage form its power system.

Marina van Oord, the vessel’s godmother, performed the naming ceremony.

Three vessels in the series—Acta Pegasus, Acta Hercules and Acta Gemini—have now been delivered. The remaining vessel, Acta Aquarius, is expected to follow later in 2026. Its delivery will increase Acta Marine’s dedicated Walk-to-Work and CSOV fleet to seven vessels.
