Subsea7 has secured a contract from LLOG Exploration Company LLC for subsea work on the Who Dat East development in the US Gulf.

The project is located in lease MC 509-1 at a water depth of approximately 1,300 m. LLOG Exploration Company LLC is a subsidiary of Harbour Energy.

The contract covers the fabrication, transportation and installation of a 29-kilometre steel catenary riser and pipe-in-pipe for the Who Dat floating production system.

Subsea7 will also install an umbilical and subsea controls as part of the scope.

Project management and engineering will begin immediately at Subsea7‘s office in Houston, Texas. Offshore activities are expected to start in 2028.
