Boskalis has completed preparation work on its DP3 construction support vessel BOKA Sub C in Spain ahead of an FPSO hook-up assignment off Guyana.

The vessel underwent an overhaul of its large offshore cranes and thrusters, while its DP3 system was upgraded. BOKA Sub C also received Boskalis livery during the dry-dock period.

Earlier in 2026, BOKA Sub C sailed to Europe for the preparation programme. The vessel had operated in Brazilian waters for several years before the move.

Its recent work has included anchor installation in deep waters of South America at locations more than 100 km offshore.

Boskalis said Astilleros de Santander S.A.U. collaborated during the dry-dock period.

Following the preparations, BOKA Sub C is set for its next project involving the hook-up of a new FPSO off the coast of Guyana.
