OFS Malaysia, part of the MODEC Group, is recruiting a Group Lead, Static for its engineering hub at KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur. The position will support major offshore and FPSO developments across FEED, detailed engineering, and project execution phases.
The role will lead the technical delivery of static and packaged equipment, oversee engineering quality, coordinate vendors and subcontractors, and mentor multidisciplinary engineering personnel. Responsibilities also include resolving complex design issues, maintaining project schedules, and driving continuous improvement across mechanical engineering activities.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 20 years of mechanical engineering experience in the oil and gas sector
- Strong offshore or FPSO project experience
- Detailed knowledge of ASME Section VIII, EN 13445, API standards, and classification requirements
- Proven leadership, resource management, and team development capabilities
