Norwegian Offshore Wind and Humber Marine and Renewables have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding cooperation between their member companies and supporting offshore wind supply chain development across the North Sea.

The agreement was signed on 16 June during the Global Offshore Wind conference and provides a framework for joint engagement in offshore wind-related activities and commercial opportunities.

The two organizations expect the partnership to encourage closer collaboration between Norwegian and UK supply chain companies as offshore wind capacity continues to grow in both markets.

Norwegian Offshore Wind highlighted the Humber region’s established offshore wind ecosystem, including significant operating capacity, a substantial project pipeline, and well-developed supply chain capabilities. The organization said the agreement would help create new opportunities for member companies while strengthening cross-border industry cooperation.

Humber Marine and Renewables stated that the partnership is intended to support greater industry connectivity, foster technology development, and contribute to continued growth within the offshore wind sector.
