Noble Corporation has secured a drilling contract from bp for work offshore Trinidad and Tobago, with the semi-submersible rig Noble Developer assigned to a three-well campaign.

The award was disclosed in Noble Corporation’s 2025 full-year results. The programme is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2027 and is expected to run for about 240 days at a day rate of $375,000. The contract also includes options for up to three additional wells.

bp operates 12 offshore platforms and two subsea installations in Trinidad and Tobago, where it is one of the country’s main hydrocarbon producers.

Westwood Global Energy Group said the global committed jackup fleet decreased by four units to 384, while marketed committed utilisation stood at 88%.
