Vattenfall has been awarded the Hesselø and North Sea I Mid offshore wind projects in Denmark, with minimum capacities of 800 MW and 1,000 MW respectively.

DEME has installed the first transition piece at Vattenfall’s 980 MW Nordlicht I offshore wind farm in the German North Sea, following the first monopile installation in early July.

CS WIND Offshore has shipped the first Nordlicht I transition pieces from Aalborg. DEME will transport and install the units at the German North Sea project site.

DEME has secured a contract in its €150 million to €300 million category to transport and install 69 monopile foundations for the 1 GW Zeevonk offshore wind project.

Vattenfall has launched transition piece workflow trials in Aalborg for the Nordlicht offshore wind project, testing installation, cable work, and safety procedures before offshore construction starts in July 2026.
