Aker BP has completed installation of the more than 16,500 t Valhall PWP topside, with Heerema Marine Contractors finishing its offshore scope for Valhall PWP-Fenris and Yggdrasil.
Sarens used 580 SPMT axle lines to move and load out the more than 17,500-tonne Valhall PWP topside at Aker Solutions’ yard in Stord, Norway.
Sarens is preparing 560 SPMT axle lines and 24 PPUs for the July 2026 load-out of the 17,666 t Valhall PWP topside in Stord after module operations across Norway.

The Hugin B topside has departed Aker Solutions’ Verdal yard, completing a three-and-a-half-year delivery programme for Aker BP’s Yggdrasil and Valhall PWP-Fenris developments.
The Fenris topside has departed Verdal for the North Sea, marking a major step for the Valhall PWP-Fenris project. The unmanned platform is due to start production in 2027 and is expected to support higher gas exports from Valhall.
