Baltic Power has supplied Poland’s first offshore wind electricity to the national grid. The 1.1 GW Northland Power and ORLEN project targets commercial operations in the second half of 2026.

Poland’s offshore wind sector has advanced with the installation of nacelles produced at Vestas’ Szczecin facility for the Baltic Power project. The effort reflects the increasing participation of domestic manufacturers in supplying major turbine components for one of the country’s largest renewable energy developments.

DEME Group’s Taiwanese joint venture CDWE has completed installation of all 37 turbines at the Hai Long 2 Offshore Wind Farm, marking a major milestone for Taiwan’s clean energy transition.
