Chinese shipyards secured 34 LNG carrier orders by early July 2026, compared with 32 for South Korean yards, as limited Korean capacity affected contract allocation.

K LINE has taken delivery of Puteri Kedah, the second LNG carrier built for PETRONAS LNG Ltd., following the delivery of sister vessel Puteri Johor in May 2026.
