Swire Projects has successfully delivered 46 units of equipment and materials, totaling about 4,225 cubic meters, from Dangjin, South Korea, to Samalaju, Malaysia. The shipment was carried out aboard the vessel Pacific Innovation and supports a major chemical and materials production expansion project in Sarawak, East Malaysia.

The highlight of the cargo was a 310-metric-ton steam boiler module, the heaviest and most technically challenging unit in the consignment. Due to its highly sensitive structure, the lift required 32 lifting points and a precise upright operation with zero tilt tolerance. The move demonstrated Swire Projects’ engineering expertise and seamless coordination between its project team and the vessel crew.

The delivery contributes to the expansion of a large-scale chemical facility aimed at increasing production capacity, strengthening regional industrial infrastructure, and driving long-term growth in Malaysia’s chemical sector. Transporting oversized and delicate cargo demanded careful planning, including a detailed lift plan, secure stowage, and close stakeholder collaboration throughout the voyage.

Swire Projects emphasized that the successful transport underlines its ability to provide reliable project cargo and heavy-lift logistics solutions for industrial megaprojects. The company noted that by combining technical precision with operational excellence, it continues to support infrastructure development across Asia-Pacific and beyond.
