Bahri Logistics has signed a newbuild agreement with Grandweld Shipyard for two offshore service vessels to support its offshore operations in Saudi Arabia.
The vessels will be built for work at Ras Tanura Port, an energy hub in the Kingdom. They are intended to add operational capacity and improve service flexibility for customers in the energy and industrial sectors.
Each vessel will be fitted with navigation, communication and safety systems for offshore work. The planned scope includes support for vessel clearance procedures with relevant authorities, crew changes, emergency response, maintenance assistance, technical support for vessels and offshore facilities, and inspection support. The vessels will be required to comply with international maritime and environmental standards.
Both vessels will be constructed at Grandweld Shipyard’s facility in Dubai Maritime City. Delivery is expected in August 2026 after a 12-month build period.
The order is part of Bahri’s strategy to modernize its fleet, strengthen technical capabilities and adopt more energy-efficient vessel designs.
