Dixstone marked a key fleet milestone on 26 September with the christening of Men Cren, the first of three multi-purpose shallow water vessels built for its Business Unit Marine. The ceremony, held in collaboration with Holland Shipyards, introduced the vessel that will soon be joined by sister ships Men Goe and Men Skey. All three vessels are named after small islands off the coast of Brittany, France.

According to Dixstone, the new series represents a significant enhancement of its service portfolio, designed to strengthen shallow water operations particularly across Africa. The vessels are intended to deliver greater flexibility, reliability, and innovation in marine logistics, supporting a wide range of offshore activities.

The christening ceremony included blessings for the vessel and its crew from the ship’s Godmother. Dixstone also expressed appreciation to Holland Shipyards for organizing the event and for its role in delivering the newbuild program.

With the addition of the Men Cren series, Dixstone is positioning itself to meet rising demand for specialized shallow water solutions, reinforcing its presence in the African offshore and marine logistics markets.
