Seaway7, which earlier secured the contract for the third phase (Dogger Bank C) to transport and install monopile foundations and transition pieces, has now achieved the milestone of installing the final monopile for Dogger Bank C. This completes the 277 monopile foundations across the Dogger Bank A, B, and C phases. The heavy-lift vessel Seaway Strashnov carried out the final installation.

The contract for phase C was awarded to Seaway7 in 2021. Under that agreement, the vessel Seaway Alfa Lift was selected for key installation work starting in 2024, following completion of Dogger Bank A and B. With the monopile phase now fully installed, installation of transition pieces is set to continue with Seaway Alfa Lift in the coming months to conclude Seaway7’s foundation scope.

Seaway7 emphasized that consistent, predictable performance and strong collaboration with partners allowed for efficient cycles throughout the multi-phase campaign while meeting safety and quality requirements.
