The propulsion system will use six variable-speed diesel engines, each rated at 1,901 bkW. The vessel will be equipped with three 1,500 kW CPP azimuth thrusters and three 1,500 kW bow thrusters.
Its deck equipment includes a 250 tm active heave compensated offshore crane, two launch and recovery systems and two WROVs. The vessel will also be able to carry two cable carousels with a total capacity of 2,500 t.
