Seacontractors deployed its AHTS SEA BANCKERT to tow a Heerema jacket from Vlissingen East in the Netherlands on 30 August 2026.

The vessel left Vlissingen East with the offshore structure in tow and headed into the North Sea. Seacontractors said the operation was supporting Heerema offshore activities.

North Sea Port records show that SEA BANCKERT, IMO 9388651, departed the port area at 14:42 on 30 August. The port data identifies the vessel as Dutch-flagged and records its length as 73.2 m.

According to the vessel specification published by Seacontractors, SEA BANCKERT is a 2009-built AHTS with DPS-2 capability and a bollard pull of 175 tonnes. The specification lists the vessel at 73.2 m in length and 16.4 m in breadth, with 13,678 BHP of brake horsepower.

SEA BANCKERT was added to the Seacontractors fleet following the acquisition of two AHTS vessels from DOF Group in 2025. The vessels were subsequently named SEA BANCKERT and SEA EVERTSEN and transferred to the Dutch flag.

The two AHTS vessels expanded the company’s capacity for anchor handling and towing operations, with SEA BANCKERT now deployed on the Heerema jacket tow from Vlissingen East.
