Skyborn Renewables GmbH has acquired the remaining shares in the 111 MW Nordergründe offshore wind farm in Germany, making it the sole owner of the asset.
The Hamburg-based company announced on 29 June 2026 that it had completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Nordergründe. Skyborn Renewables GmbH previously held a 30% stake, while the remaining 70% was held by other investors.
Nordergründe is located in the German North Sea and has been operating since 2017. The offshore wind farm comprises 18 turbines with a total installed capacity of 111 MW. According to the company, the project can supply renewable electricity to about 90,000 households.
Skyborn Renewables GmbH has been involved in Nordergründe since the development phase and acted as construction manager for the project. With full ownership, the company will manage long-term decisions related to the asset’s operation.
Earlier in June 2026, Skyborn Renewables GmbH signed a long-term integrated service contract with Wind Multiplikator for Nordergründe. The agreement covers service arrangements for the offshore wind farm’s operation and maintenance.
The company said the acquisition supports its role across development, construction, ownership and operation of offshore wind assets.
