SANY Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. has shipped core equipment from China for its first Chilean wind power project, the 18 MW PURRANQUE development.
The cargo departed from the Port of Tianjin. SANY Renewable Energy is providing supply, transportation and installation services for the project, supported by logistics planning, multimodal transport coordination and local customs-clearance support.
Chile aims to generate 70% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030. For PURRANQUE, SANY Renewable Energy adapted its technical solution to local geographical and climatic conditions to support reliable operation in complex environments.
The shipment follows the company’s wider international expansion since 2022. SANY Renewable Energy has established subsidiaries and local teams across Europe, South Asia, Central Asia and Africa.
SANY Group operates 17 manufacturing bases outside China, more than 900 service sites and about 1,000 parts warehouses. Its activities cover R&D, design, product validation, intelligent manufacturing, supply and delivery.
The group’s technical facilities include a smart blade manufacturing lighthouse factory for wind power and a 35 MW six-degree-of-freedom full-system test bench.
In heavy equipment, SANY recently delivered a 400 tonnes SY4000H hydraulic mining excavator to an overseas customer. The company also delivered its first SY1250H large mining excavator in Europe, where the unit is operating at an open-pit coal mine.
