Wison New Energies has signed an EPCIC contract with Eni and Altera Infrastructure for an FPSO supporting the Baleine Phase 3 development offshore Côte d’Ivoire.

The contract covers engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the new production unit. Wison New Energies, which was involved during the front-end engineering design stage, will continue with the project through EPCIC execution.

Eni is developing Baleine Phase 3, while Altera Infrastructure will own and operate the FPSO.

The unit will be designed to process up to 90,000 barrels of oil per day, 80,000 barrels of produced water per day and 160 million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day.

The FPSO will measure approximately 308 m in length, 57 m in width and 29.8 m in depth. It will have a design life of at least 20 years.

Financial terms and the planned delivery schedule were not included in the contract announcement.
