BigLift Shipping’s newest heavy transport vessel, CY Frontier, has started its maiden voyage with 12 inland barges on board for RensenDriessen.

The barges weigh between 455 t and 1,750 t. The vessel is expected to arrive in Rotterdam in September.

Before reaching Rotterdam, CY Frontier will call at Mokpo, South Korea, to load two 450 t grillages. The units are destined for Cadiz, Spain.

BigLift Shipping is working with RensenDriessen and MCSI Rotterdam on the vessel’s first voyage.
