The Dutch government has raised subsidy ceilings for the 2 GW IJmuiden Ver Gamma offshore wind tender to support market participation amid investment uncertainty in the sector.

The Netherlands will expand its 2026 offshore wind tender to 2 GW by adding IJmuiden Ver Gamma-B alongside Gamma-A under a temporary subsidy scheme ahead of CfD implementation.

The Dutch cabinet will launch a 1GW SDE++ tender at IJmuiden Ver Gamma-A in September 2026, scaling back from 2GW as it seeks to keep offshore wind deployment viable under tighter budgets.
