Saipem and Jan De Nul have signed an LOI with ExxonMobil for preliminary engineering, procurement and technical work on the Rovuma LNG Phase 1 development in Mozambique.
McDermott Energy Solutions (UK) has received an LOI from ExxonMobil Moçambique for engineering and procurement work on Rovuma LNG Phase 1 ahead of a planned 2026 FID.
ExxonMobil CEO Darren Woods said the company is close to lifting the force majeure on its Rovuma LNG project in Mozambique and will move “fairly quickly” toward a final investment decision once the suspension ends.
