QMW and CNPC Offshore Engineering’s Qingdao arm have signed an agreement covering jacket fabrication for QatarEnergy LNG’s North Field West expansion.
CWHI has secured a contract from Saipem S.p.A. to supply about 32,000 tonnes of steel products for Qatar’s COMP3 project, with the first batch delivered in June 2025.
CWHI delivered a second batch of jacket foundation piles for the NFPS COMP2 project from China to Qatar, following an earlier batch delivered in August for QatarEnergy LNG.
Saipem has been chosen by QatarEnergy LNG, alongside Offshore Oil Engineering Co (COOEC), for an offshore EPCI contract in Qatar worth about $4 billion, with around $3.1 billion for Saipem’s share.
