Gulf Marine Services (GMS) has signed a four-year charter for a self-elevating accommodation unit that will be deployed offshore Brazil.
The agreement with an international offshore accommodation services provider covers 1,461 firm charter days. The vessel is scheduled to be delivered to the charterer in Rio de Janeiro between August and November 2026.
The contract follows GMS’s entry into Latin America, announced on 5 May 2026, and provides long-term employment for the unit in the Brazilian offshore market.
GMS Executive Chairman Mansour Al Alami said the charter supports the company’s expansion in Latin America and reflects its strategy of entering new markets.
He also described the unit as one of the company’s newest vessels and said GMS would support the charterer’s operations in Brazil during the contract period.
