DEME has installed the first jacket foundation at the Dieppe-Le Tréport offshore wind farm in France, marking a significant project milestone. The operation was executed by the jack-up vessel Innovation after returning from work at the Yeu-Noirmoutier wind farm.

The 1,200-ton steel jackets, fabricated by Navantia Seanergies in Spain, are shipped to Cherbourg before offshore installation. DEME’s vessel Apollo had previously completed piling works at the site.

Once operational, the 496 MW Dieppe-Le Tréport facility will host 62 turbines and is expected to provide renewable power to roughly 850,000 households each year.
