CWHI has confirmed the successful dispatch of its first batch of fabricated components for the North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) Offshore Compression Complexes “COMP2” project. The delivery was executed from the company’s Xiangshui Yard in China, underscoring its ongoing partnership with Saipem in one of Qatar’s flagship LNG developments.

This initial shipment represents the starting point of a series of scheduled deliveries set to continue in the coming months. The COMP2 project forms part of Qatar’s broader North Field expansion, which plays a central role in the country’s long-term LNG supply strategy.

According to Dale Young, Chief Development Officer at CWHI, “this milestone reflects both the strength of our collaboration with Saipem and our commitment to supporting major global energy projects.” He emphasized that the company will maintain its focus on quality, safety, and timely execution.

The project scope covers more than 25,000 metric tons of piles, with individual units reaching up to 3,050 millimeters in diameter and 73 meters in length. Production activities remain on track, with CWHI dedicating its fabrication capacity and technical expertise to ensure smooth progression.
