DOF Group ASA has secured a two-year contract extension for the anchor handling tug supply vessel Skandi Vega with Equinor Energy AS, following the client’s exercise of existing options.

The extension keeps the vessel under firm contract until the third quarter of 2029, adding to DOF’s contracted backlog for the coming years.

According to DOF Group ASA, Skandi Vega has been operating for Equinor Energy AS since its delivery in 2010. The latest extension continues the vessel’s long-term employment with the same client under the extended agreement.

Mons S. Aase, Chief Executive Officer of DOF Group ASA, said the two-year extension further supports the company’s backlog and noted that DOF will continue providing services to Equinor Energy AS through Skandi Vega.
