Worley has been selected by Chevron Cyprus Limited, a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation, to deliver front-end engineering design and procurement services for the Aphrodite Field Development Project offshore Cyprus in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The scope covers FEED engineering across the Aphrodite field development, including part of the subsea systems, the floating production unit, the export gas pipeline and the onshore receiving facilities. Worley will also provide procurement services for Chevron Cyprus in relation to equipment purchases for the floating production unit and the onshore facilities.

The contract follows Worley’s earlier pre-FEED work on the project. The company said it will execute the assignment through its Global Integrated Delivery model, using expertise from teams in five countries.

Chris Ashton, chief executive officer of Worley, said the company was pleased to continue its long-standing relationship with Chevron and to support progress on the project with its gas development expertise and integrated delivery model.
