Tekmar Group plc has secured a c.€1 million contract to provide concrete protection solutions for a major European offshore windfarm project.

The contract was awarded by an existing customer described as a leading submarine cable contractor. Delivery is scheduled within calendar year 2026.

Under the contract, Tekmar will design and manufacture concrete protection and stabilisation solutions for cables across the windfarm. The solutions will be used to protect and stabilise the cables.

The order is the first concrete protection contract placed with Tekmar by the customer and extends an existing customer relationship.

The contract also forms part of the development of Tekmar under Project Aurora, which integrates its asset protection technology and offshore energy services offering.

Richard Turner, Chief Executive Officer of Tekmar Group plc, said the award reflects the company’s growth strategy and the development of its concrete solutions offering. He also pointed to efforts to broaden the company’s services for customers in offshore wind and oil and gas markets.
