Germany’s Bernhard Schulte Offshore has taken delivery of Windea Carnot, the third CSOV in a series built by Ulstein Verft, adding another offshore wind support vessel with hybrid propulsion and capacity for 132 people.

Ulstein Verft’s yard no. 322 CSOV Genesis Sea nears completion of sea trials after speed, turning, crash/stop and DP tests, with FMEA/MTS remaining ahead of delivery this spring.

Ulstein Verft has floated the lead SX222 CSOV for JP Morgan Asset Management, using Polish-built hulls and motion-compensated access systems, with both units due for delivery within this year.

Nexans has launched the hull of its cable-laying vessel Nexans Electra at Ulstein Verft, moving the project into the outfitting phase before commissioning, testing and seatrials ahead of its planned 2026 delivery.
