Petrobras starts production from the P-78 FPSO at Búzios, designed for 180,000 barrels/day and 7.2 million m³/day of gas.

FPSO P-79 has departed Geoje-Si for the Búzios field in the Santos Basin. Petrobras plans for the unit to arrive in February 2026 and begin production in August 2026, adding capacity to the field’s ongoing development.
