Norway’s offshore safety regulator Havtil has approved Aker BP’s use of Floatel Superior as a temporary accommodation unit at the Skarv field, supporting offshore manning alongside Floatel Endurance.

Norway’s offshore safety authority Havtil has allowed Aker BP to station Floatel Endurance at the Skarv field in the Norwegian Sea, with additional charters lined up for Yggdrasil in 2026 and FPSO Alvheim in 2029.

Equinor has successfully initiated production from the Verdande subsea field, extending the operational life of the Norne FPSO beyond 2030, with an investment of NOK 6 billion.

Equinor has mobilized COSL and Transocean rigs to execute drilling programs across the Norwegian and Barents Seas, following the receipt of all regulatory approvals.
