Odfjell Drilling has acquired the harsh-environment rig Deepsea Bollsta from Northern Ocean, will rename it Deepsea Bergen in 2026, and has boosted backlog and refinanced with new loans and a bond.

DeepOcean and Equinor have renewed their subsea IMR frame agreement, ensuring continuous IMR services from 2006 to 2035 and vessel-based and onshore support through 2026 and into 2027.

Equinor has reported gas and condensate discoveries at the Lofn and Langemann wells in PL1140 near Gudrun and Eirin, adding an estimated 30–110 million barrels that can be tied back to Sleipner infrastructure.

Equinor has mobilized COSL and Transocean rigs to execute drilling programs across the Norwegian and Barents Seas, following the receipt of all regulatory approvals.
